Windows Live Messenger - On Screen Display

This free addin enables «On Screen Display» for Windows Live Messenger. This feature allows you to read all incoming messages directly on your screen, without having to open any conversation window ! You can answer a bit later to your contacts, while still being informed of what they are saying ! This way you are less disturbed at work (for example)...

Minimum Requirements


You must have Windows Live Messenger installed !
Click here to upgrade if you are still using MSN Messenger.

Successfully tested with :

- Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)
- Microsoft Windows Vista



Download and Installation


First, download the installer from our server :

	RECOMMANDED VERSION ! Required disk space for installation : 26.8 MB Used disk space after installation : 161 KB only ! [Link 1] [Link 2] [Link 3]
	Lite version without .NET Framework 2.0 Required disk space for installation : 560 KB Used disk space after installation : 161 KB only ! [Link 1] [Link 2] [Link 3]

Execute downloaded file and wait until setup has finished...




Now, exit from Windows Live Messenger (otherwise changes wouldn't be taken into consideration) :




Restart Windows Live Messenger, then select Tools > Options :




As you can see, there is a new tab called "Add-ins" (or "Compléments" for french users).
Select it then click on "Add to Messenger..." :




Browse to "C:\Program Files\Nicolas MERLET\WLM OSD Plugin" and open "WLM_OSD_Plugin.dll" :




Close all but main Live Messenger window, then activate the plugin from Status menu :




You're done ! Enjoy...
