This is my Ubuntu Edgy with beryl and xgl to have some eye candy effects.. I've been using linux for almost a month now.. and all i can say is its amazing .. tends to surprise me everyday .. i've been a Windows geek all my life .. but when i checked out some videos of what power linux holds @ youtube .. i thought i should give it a kick as well .. and now i hardly switch to windows thanks to vmware - a virtualization software that helps me run windows inside linux .. and so i don't have to dual boot to use windows .. i say a Windows OS should b run in a window !! the drawbacks are that most of the things are done @ terminal .. which means you have to write the commands .. this can be quite annoying in the beginning but once you get a hold of it its all good .. the plus points are a lot .. but i'd love to mention one of it that its very secure than Windows .. you don't even need to install any spyware adware or an antivirus .. which not to mention and resource hoggers !! In my opinion i'd say everyone should give it a go @least once .. if you have any questions or problems you can ask me .. or you can google it!! HAVE FUN
